By all rights the lovely Lana Turner was the original 'Sweater Girl'. Although she didn't like the term and thought it took away from her image as a serious actress the label stuck. And why not? The lady knew how to wear a sweater!
Whether at 15 (left) or 40 (right) Lana was, is and will always be our favorite 'Sweater Girl'.
